Lemuria

This is a music visualization plugin for libvisual and and the Gmerlin visualizer. You need really good hardware OpenGL support and a fast CPU for this to run. Lemuria finds out, if you have goom-1.9x or goom-2k4 installed and uses it for background textures. Included in the lemuria source is also a stripped down version of the Xaos realtime fractal zoomer, which will show up from time to time.

Lemuria is known to run uninterrupted for about 24 hours on an Athlon 2100 with a GeForce4 Ti 4200 graphics card with 1024x768 resolution at maximum framerate (about 30 fps). Full antialiasing was also enabled. It is best used in fullscreen mode with good screen sizes starting at about 2 m. The aspect ratio can be 4:3 or 16:9 or anything in between.

Below, you see some screenshots. The first one shows a goom background. The second one shows the integrated Xaos fractal engine in action.

Lemuria appears in the videoclip of "Accidende lujurioso": "Accidental lust", track from Anular (HQ version).

Lemuria sourcecode is available at the download page.
